National Space Society “NSS in Second Life” Machinima Contest Winner Announced
The National Space Society announced Rocksea Renegade was the winner of their Machinima contest. The film “Dreamer’s Journey” Film Location Credit: National Space Society & Music Credit: Craig Lyons.

Machinima has been a great vehicle for telling stories and is becoming an even more prominant medium used by the creative people of Second life. Below is a list of the runner up videos. The machinima videos for this contest had a prerequisite which was 50% of the film had to be filmed on the National Space Society Second Life sim. Musician Craig Lyons also permitted his music to be used in the videos.
The videos where shown at the University of Western Australias new Quad sim Virtual Theater in Second Life and the winner was announced followed by a after dance party held at the Virtual National Space Society.
