Myown Destiny a Second Life resident & 2X Cancer Survivor
MYOWN DESTINY
This is an interview I had with Myown Destiny a resident from the "Second Life® virtual world" who is a 2X cancer survivor and is recovering from Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI). She is a very strong courageous woman and has enjoyed her time in Second Life for almost a year now.
Myown Destiny is one of the many residents who's lives, real & virtual have been affected by the recent increase in land fees by Linden Lab.
Unfortunately we had a few audio complications and I was unable to speak. I asked herin chat what brought her to this virtual world and how did she pick her name.
I asked her how her experience in Second Life had helped in her recovery and what where the hurdles she had to overcome. She also shared how the fee increases set her back a bit and what concern she had for her friends in Second Life who have become her social network, her connection to life and who have given her support which has enabled her to help others living with Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI) .
I was honored that she allowed me to share her story. Thank you MyOwn Destiny.
HUGS!
